What Is A Sales Funnel?
Before we continue the ClickFunnels review, let’s just take a look at exactly what a sales funnel is and the difference between a website and a sales funnel.
Some people will question things such as ‘Why do I need a sales funnel if I have a website’. let’s break it down and see exactly what the difference is.
A website is made up of multiple different pages such as a home page, about us page, a blog and maybe even a shop. Content is added on a regular basis to various aspects of the site to keep regular readers and customers engaged.
A website is an excellent asset and I would highly recommend anybody to start up a website or a blog. It builds up and snowballs over time which can make a great source of income. The downside to a website is, with so many pages, options and sections, it can be a bit confusing for people as there are too many choices and no real direction.
The best way to compare it is, image your driving along a road with multiple different other roads linking off the main road with no signage. You would get lost and just be driving around in all directions. This is where a sales funnel comes in.
A sales funnel is the equivalent of a one way road. The funnel is designed to guide all of your web traffic in a single direction. The sales funnel doesn’t have any distractions such as a navigation bar, multiple different pages, share buttons or social media links. Each page of the funnel is cleverly designed to make customers take action on what the company has to offer and this results in higher conversions.
Now you know the difference between a website and a funnel, and the importance of having a sales funnel, let’s take go through the rest of this ClickFunnels review and show you all of the cool features and options.
Top Features Of Clickfunnels?
Best Feature #1: Funnel template blueprints
ClickFunnels features 22 different types of sales funnel templates for you to use. These are professional templates that any kind of business can use and are broken down into four categories.
- Lead capture funnels
- Sales page funnels
- Event funnels
- Membership funnels
Within each funnel type you will find both free and paid templates. Don’t worry if you have no web design skills, you can have a professional looking page/funnel up in no time, this is what ClickFunnels is designed for.
All of the funnels you create can easily be edited. There are over 40 ClickFunnels templates you can choose from and up to 9 drag and drop funnels.
Best Feature #2: Good Visual Drag and Drop Editor
The visual drag and drop editor makes it super easy to make each one of your pages look exactly how you want it to look. The way this works is, the pages in ClickFunnels have sections containing rows and columns. This means you can simply drag the required elements into the rows and columns with ease.
When using the ClickFunnels editor, you start off with two different options. You can either start from scratch with a blank page, or you can choose from one of the existing professional templates. With the templates you can still customize anything you like, it’s just the fact it saves you a lot of time because the main structure is already there.
Best Feature #3: Huge Selection of Page Elements
Best Feature #4: Backpack – Run smart affiliate programs inside your funnels
The first step towards growing a successful online business is creating a good sales funnel. But if you nobody sees this funnel then it doesn’t matter how good it is, you will not make sales. The other component to success and growing your online business is driving traffic towards that funnel.
There are many great traffic sources which you can use, but affiliate traffic is is one of the best types of traffic you can use. It converts way better than any other type of traffic. ClickFunnels allows you to setup affiliate programs inside your funnels. You could literally multiply your monthly income just by adding a few affiliates.
Here are some of the things you can do with the affiliate program.
- Design your own custom affiliate plans.
- Create different types of affiliates. For example, Regular affiliates, Super affiliates, Friends and Family, etc.
- Create a two-tiered affiliate programme (ie – let affiliates recruit affiliates).
- Manage affiliates and payments.
- Monitor affiliate analytics
Below you will see a quick summary list of all of Clickfunnels features.
As you can imagine, ClickFunnels integrates with pretty much most platforms. You can setup three types of integrations from inside the ClickFunnels dashboard. These are…
- Autoresponder: This is where you integrate with your favourite email platform such as Aweber, MailChimp plus many more.
- Payment Gateways: There are a number of different payment gateways out there for you to choose from. For example, me personally I use Stripe and Paypal. This is where you can integrate this with ClickFunnels.
- Outgoing SMPT: This is basically what ClickFunnels uses to send transactional emails such as shipping notifications and receipts of purchases etc.
To gain access to all of the integration options just simply click on your avatar from the top right-hand corner and click on Integrations > Add Integrations. If you get stuck or do not know what to do, ClickFunnels provides support and plenty of articles and how-to’s in it’s knowledge base.
How To Use Clickfunnels
I’ve dropped a couple of demo videos below so you can get an idea of how ClickFunnels works. Obviously this is a ClickFunnels review and not a tutorial post, so I won’t go into too much details on how to do absolutely everything with the software. But by viewing the videos you will get an idea of how great and simple it is to use.
How Much Does Clickfunnels Cost?
ClickFunnels have evolved and developed their pricing structure over time. As of writing this article, Clickfunnels currently has 2 different pricing plans to choose from. Let’s take a quick look at the pricing structure below.
- ClickFunnels: $97/mth
If you choose this plan you will get access to all of the funnel creation tools, but you are limited to creating just 20 funnels, 100 pages, and 20,000 visitors. You also will not get access to Actionetics and Backpack. This is a major blow as Backpack allows you to create your own affiliate programs which is a very important element to success.
- Etison Suite: $297/mth
This option included everything, plus unlimited pages, funnels and visitors.
Looking at both options, The first option is more affordable. But all of the best options are found within the Etison Suite. The problem with this option is it’s just not affordable for beginners, but a great option for established businesses.
As with any tool or software, you will always have a few questions regarding the product. Please see below to find some of the frequently asked questions regarding ClickFunnels.
