- The sun that comes up each morning
- To sleep in a bed each night
- Sense of sight
The list goes on and on. The best thing to do is keep a daily journal. You can even do this digitally. Just set up a document in Google Docs and jot everything in there. It’s a great tool to have, especially times when you are feeling angry or having an off day, just read through your list.

It can be very hard to to shift your way of thinking from negative to positive, so be patient. The key is being aware of these negative patterns. If you catch yourself being negative about people or different situations, take a moment to observe these thoughts and then counter them with two positive observations or gratitude.

- Nature Scenes: A study was conducted in which a stress-inducing film was shown to a group of people, who were later exposed to shots of either urban life or nature. The group who were exposed to the shots of nature recovered a lot more quickly from the stress. When feeling stressed, try watching nature scenes on YouTube.
