#1 Affirmations And Being Consciously Aware Of Your Thoughts

Affirmations are everything that we say to ourselves repeatedly either out loud or in our thoughts. Over time, the words that you continuously repeat to yourself become part of your identity due to the Reticular Activating System (RAS). It doesn’t matter weather the thoughts are positive or negative, it works in exactly the same way.

The problem with a big majority of people is they think in a negative manner which puts them in  a negative mindset. The negative thoughts get engraved into your subconscious mind which then runs on autopilot without you even realizing you are being so negative. This means you are then operating on a low vibrational frequency.

The way you re-program your subconscious mind or negative way of thinking is to use positive affirmations. The subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between yes and no or past and future. So the way to go about using affirmations is to state the affirmation as if it is true right now.

  • I am happy
  • I am satisfied
  • I am happy
  • I am good enough

It may be different as everybody is unique but tests have shown that neurological signals will make the affirmations stick after around 30 days of using them.

After reading about gratitude, practicing the act of kindness works in a similar way. Being kind puts you in the mindset of you have enough to give to others instead of thinking “I don’t have enough” which is the usual negative way of thinking. Finding ways of being kind without expecting anything back will put you at a high vibration frequency.
