It works like gravity as in it is always in effect and always in motion, and is the most powerful law in the universe. Whether it be good or bad, with every single thought you are constantly in a state of creation, the creation never stops.

When it comes to the law of attraction, there are no limitations. Anything you wish to manifest is possible and allows for infinite possibilities.

The way that the law of attraction works is like attracts like. For example,if you are passionate, joyful, and happy, you are sending out positive energy and this is what you will receive back. If you are bored, angry, stressed out, and moaning about life all of the time, you are sending out negative energy and this is what you will receive back.

The universe responds to both positive and negative energy through the law of attraction. This is why as I said above, the law of attraction is constantly working and creating, and will respond back in a positive or negative way, depending on your vibration.

One thing that most people get wrong when it comes to the law of attraction is they think it works at specific times when they want to bring something into their life. This is far from the truth. The law of attraction is working non stop, based upon the way you are thinking or feeling. The problem is, most of your daily thoughts are run on complete autopilot by your subconscious mind. So if these thoughts are negative, this is what you will attract.

2. Your Frequency Determines Your Results

When learning about the law of attraction, something you will hear quit a lot is your vibration frequency. This is where you will manifest and magnetically draw or attract things that reflect your internal state. This means that if you show love, happiness, and compassion, you will be on a high frequency level and therefore eventually attract those good things into your life.

The reason for this is because most of your daily thoughts are run by your subconscious mind. If these unconscious parts of the mind are negative, your conscious mind will not be aware of this. There is actually scientific proof that these thoughts are shaped by your genetic makeup and certain limitations and fears are passed down from parents to children.

The good news is it doesn’t have to stay this way, and you can completely reprogram your mind to a different way of thinking through various different techniques. Some of these techniques included visualization and affirmations.

Step 1: Decision making

When starting out using the law of attraction, the first step is to decide on what it is you actually want. The key is to be crystal clear on exactly what you want because if you give out vague or mixed signals to the universe, the law of attraction will not work for you.

Imagine your in a car in the middle of nowhere with no map or no clear direction of where you want to go. You could end up absolutely anywhere. The same applies with the law of attraction, if you are not crystal clear with what it is you want to manifest, life will just throw anything at you. The universe will be confused and will not give you the results you want.

Start by asking yourself questions such as…

  • what do you want to be?
  • what experiences do you want to have?
  • where do you want to live and with who?
  • what cat do you want to drive

Step 2: Believe that it will come

Belief is such an important part of the manifestation process and getting the law of attraction to work for you. Without belief, you will not get what you want, it really is as simple as that. A lot of people struggle because they find it hard to believe in something that they cannot see or they think they don’t deserve.

You really have to get past this and change your mindset towards believing that anything is possible and there are no limitations in life. Start off small and build up to bigger things. There are millionaires out there who once had nothing just like you. There is a reason why they are where they are today and it has nothing to do with luck.

Step: 3 Experience the reality of your desires

Anything is possible in life if you truly have a deep desire for it. The problem is, most of us don’t actually know what we desire. The usual way people go about this is to say i’d like a new house, a new car, more money. This way of doing it is wrong, you have to be ore specific.

When you desire, you should think of the exact model of car that you desire, what color is it?, what is the interior like? Visualise it as if it is there in front of you, and you are getting into the car behind the wheel. Even visualise what it smells like.

Step 4: Unconditional Love

The simple fact about the law of attraction is, if you feel like you don’t deserve what it is your trying to desire, you will never get it. Going back to what I said about your subconscious mind, those deep subconscious thoughts full of doubt and fear will send messages loud and clear. These subconscious thoughts will always bee competing with your desire, therefore you will never get what you desire.

If anybody reading this has children, you will know the love and compassion you feel to your child. You must feel the same love and compassion towards yourself and towards your desires.

Step 5: Inner Dialogue

Your inner dialogue and the way you talk to yourself every day will have a great effect on your actions. It’s very important to be consciously aware of your inner dialogue, as this will change your emotions and the way you act.

If your inner dialogue is positive, your subconscious mind will be on autopilot and help to look for opportunities to make what you desire become a reality. A negative person will not see these opportunities, which is why they will never manifest what they desire unless they change their mindset.

How do you change your inner dialogue? The first step is to be consciously aware of your inner dialogue. You can then use affirmations in either written or audio form to start introducing these new, positive thoughts into your mind. The key is to then stay consistent and do this every single day. If you do this then your your energy will change and you will start attracting a lot more things into your life.

Once you have your specific desires in your mind, and you truly believe you are going to get them, an important part of this process is to then let go of your desires. If you hold on to the desire too tight and keep hoping, what you will do is kill that desire.

You have to let it go and just know and believe that the desire is coming.

Step 7: Gratitude

Gratitude is an important factor in achieving what you desire. Most people get so wrapped up in the visualization of their goals that they forget about what they already have. As much as it’s a great thing that you are working on your desires, but also don’t forget about gratitude and being grateful for everything in life that you already have.

Gratitude is a key element in making the law of attraction work because it raises your vibration level and transmits this positive energy to the universe. If you are constantly complaining that nothing goes right for you or worrying about money and bills, your mind is operating from a life of lack of. If you operate like this then the law of attraction will not work for you.

Exercises That Help You Attract What You Desire

#1 Setting goals

All of the above information is an important aspect of the law of attraction, but you are not going to get what you desire by magic unless you set goals. It’s important to set goals for different aspects of your life.

  • Relationship: Think about the kind of person you want to attract into your life and who you would want to be spending time with in 5-10 years from now.
  • Career: Where do you see yourself 5 years from now. What is your dream job? An example of this would be your own online business or blog which is going to produce a life changing income for yourself and your family.
  • Personal: This could be health related. Do you want to lose weight or build more muscle? Or do you have any fears or phobias which you want to overcome.
  • Material goals: What does your dream home or car look like. What other things would you love to own in 5 years from now.

#2 Vision boards

The best way to do this and the way I do it is to use Google’s free tools. Open up a new Google Slides document. In here you can literally put any kind of media such as text, video, and photo’s. Find pictures of your dream house, car, and other things you wish desire and start filling it like a visual journal.

Then twice a day, once in the morning and once before you go to sleep, go through all of the slides. Keep adding to this over time as you find new images. You can even put your goals and affirmations into this document.

The advantage of using something like Google Slides is you can access this document no matter where you are. You can pull out your phone on your break at work and look through your vision board.

#3 Visualization

Visualization is a powerful technique that you must be using. Top athletes in many different sports have increased performance from using visualization techniques. Here’show you can start visualizing yourself:

  • Use meditation to calm your mind.
  • Close your eyes and relax.
  • Whatever it is your trying to achieve, let these images flood your mind.
  • See yourself living the goal.
  • If it’s a material thing, see yourself standing by it or holding it. Visualize what it smells like and what it feels like to touch.

#4 Gratitude list

Making a gratitude list is good for two reasons. First, it will help with sourcing and expressing your gratitude, and second, If you are grateful for the things you already have, the universe is more likely to give you more things. There are two ways you can go about this:

  • Huge list: Make a list of everything you are grateful for. Each time you think of new things, just add them to the list.
  • Every day: Every single day, either in the morning or before you sleep, make a list of things you are grateful for at this current time.

You can do all this in a Google Slides document as I mentioned above. Then read through the list everyday.

#5 Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of self-awareness without judgement. When you become mindful, you can observe your thought’s and feelings without analyzing it. This is important because when you analyze your emotions,  our automatic reactions actually perpetuate the problem by reinforcing the connection between the action and the negative feeling in our brain.

If you approach this with mindfulness and without judgement, you release this negative connection. There is actually scientific research to backup the effects of mindfulness. It can relieve things such as depression and anxiety. It also have a great effect on things such as heart rate, blood pressure and improve your immune system.

You can see all of the benefits or mindfulness, but the reason why it’s an important factor in the law of attraction is because it takes self-awareness in the absence of judgement to get what you want.

#6 Meditation

Meditation is something you should be doing on a daily basis to help quiet your mind. You can access your centers of energy which will help deepen your connections with what you desire. #7 Affirmations

Affirmations are important for reinforcing new thoughts into your mind. They are the words which we repeat to ourselves on a daily basis that are part of our identity. As previously mentioned, most of our thoughts are run by the subconscious mind. This is why it’s important to use affirmations, because negative thoughts that are out of our control will be replaying in your mind. This means the law of attraction is not going to work for you.

The great thing is, our subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between past and future or yes and no. This means you can repeat affirmations as if they are true right now. Saying ” I earn 6 figures a year from my online business” is so much better than saying ” I want to be rich”.

How do you use affirmations? Here are two ways:

  • List affirmations in your Google Slides document. Read through them everyday and add new ones when you come across them.
  • Get affirmations as audio so you can listen to them anytime of the day while you are doing other activities.

#8 Reading Materials on Law of Attraction

Reading books and articles on the law of attraction well help improve your practice by keep you consciously aware of your thoughts. It’s easy to do in these modern times because you don’t have to get an actual physical copy of a book. You can get ebook versions that you can read on your phone when you are on the move. Most books these days also come as an audio version. You can either play these in your car or an an mp3 player.
